Britton Edwards

A Jill-of-all-trades, Britton has dedicated her career to finding new and innovative projects that make lasting positive impacts. As COO of Atlanta Way 2.0, Britton is responsible for all aspects of the behind-the-scenes work of the organization. From connecting Activators to causes and opportunities to coordinating large-scale community gatherings, she is a dynamic conductor of operations. She has the unique ability to grasp complex issues facing our city and to create strategic plans to help address these challenges. Britton has partnered with Maria Saporta on three separate projects and is always learning from her favorite mentor.
Britton is a native of Atlanta and a recent graduate from Agnes Scott's Master of Arts in Social Innovation program with a focus on nonprofit leadership. While in the master's program, she leveraged her passion for creating thriving social ventures and nonprofit organizations to help launch Atlanta Civic Circle. ACC is a solutions-focused nonprofit journalism outlet reporting on Democracy and Housing Affordability in the City of Atlanta. Before her leap into nonprofit work, Britton was a PR and marketing maven with Fortune 500 clients across the country. She has always thrived in people-oriented careers and finds satisfaction in helping others in any way she can.
When she isn’t working on Atlanta Way 2.0 business, Britton enjoys painting, exploring the Beltline, live music, and playing recreational sports. She was a member of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation Inspire Atlanta Class of 2019. She lives in Atlanta with her two amazing children and their black cats Joan and Jett.
