Lauri Strauss

Lauri Strauss is president of Strauss Media and Communications, LLC working with journalism and nonprofit organizations, including the Atlanta Press Club, Rough Draft Atlanta, SaportaReport, and the Georgia News Collaborative. Previously, she served as president of the Atlanta Press Club for more than ten years. Lauri’s background is in broadcast journalism, media relations, and nonprofit management working for companies including CNN, The Coca-Cola Company, and the American Cancer Society.

Lauri has a master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University. She is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Atlanta and is an active board member and volunteer with several organizations, including Atlanta Way 2.0, Ferst Readers, Agape Youth and Family Services, and the Junior League of Atlanta.
